The redevelopment team is reimagining the landmark hotel, the oldest of the Marriott chain still in operation. Following a partial demolition and reduction of rooms, the plan calls for the addition of a 300-unit apartment building and two condo buildings with a total of 151 units.

The project is subject to Arlington County’s 4.1 approval process, which is currently on-going.
