English Excursion in Commemoration of the 300th Birthday of Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown

Oehme, van Sweden invites you to join the American Museum in Britain (AMiB) on an excursion through the English countryside from September 29 – October 9, 2016. The trip coincides with the 300th birthday of Lancelot “Capability” Brown, Great Britain’s most famous and influential landscape architect, and will focus on his work. AMiB Director Richard Wendorf and Art Historian Gareth Williams will lead a tour of ‘Capability’ Brown’s gardens throughout Shropshire and Bath, including Croome Court, Prior Park, and Hestercombe. Organized by Friends of the American Museum in Britain and Protravel, there is limited availability for this trip.
